Oksana Zelynska

Oksana grew up in Odessa (Ukraine). In 2004 she graduated from the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture with a degree in Architecture of Buildings and Structures and received a Master of Architecture qualification. Since November 2004, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Urban Planning of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. While studying at the Centre for Postgraduate Education of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, she received the qualification “Specialist in Industrial and Civil Engineering”.
Oksana was awarded certificates and diplomas of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, Odessa Regional State Administration, Odessa City Council – for her creative work in the field of architecture.
In 2011, Oksana received qualification certificates of an architect and urban planner, every 5 years she confirms her qualifications.
Since September 2020, she has been working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Construction and Architecture of the Odessa National Maritime University.
She independently worked as the chief architect on many projects, helping with architectural supervision. Basically, its activities are aimed at the design of residential buildings and complexes. She also took part in the development of the icon case of the Kasperovskaya Icon of the Mother of God in the Odessa Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral (Upper Temple).
She believes that the design experience gained in the UK can be useful for rebuilding the destroyed cities of Ukraine after the war. Adapts the knowledge she receives from projects implemented in the UK to the regulatory framework of Ukraine.
