Spains Hall is a Grade I listed English country house circa 1570, with C17, C18 and C19 additions, incorporating a timber framed medieval house of, C1400-50.

The house required complete renovation as little work had been done for decades. This important large country house was carefully adapted, enhancing all the hidden features, while adding in new facilities. These included a new Kitchen with large French doors and a fanlight, new bathrooms and en-suites were provided with plumbing and electrics throughout. The rear entrance, which is used most by the family, was dark and insubstantial. This was remodelled with a new large panelled entrance door and long side sash windows. The roof of the hall had a large roof light inserted to gain additional light. The little staircase was removed and replaced with a Georgian style sweeping timber stair. This created a dramatic and welcoming entrance hall.
