Jo O’Shaughnessy
Senior Conservation Architectural Designer & Technician
Jo graduated with a BA Degree in Fine Art at Liverpool University and is also a member of CIAT, Chartered Institute of Architectural.
She later went on to pursue an Architectural and Interior Design career in the Construction industry after completing further ONC & HNC in building studies in addition to her Art Degree.
Over the past ten years Jo has worked for Property Developer’s, Architectural & Interior Design Practices & Building Surveyors.
Her experience has given her a depth of knowledge that encompasses from large housing developments, house extensions to large Interior Design packages.
She enjoys space planning and being able to work in detail to really understand how a building works.
Jo has a keen interest in Conservation and historic buildings and works on many of our domestic listed building projects, where her understanding of design and technical construction, helps sensitively adapt old buildings to modern life.
Although her interests are primarily based around architecture and historic architecture and buildings, she still regularly enjoys going back to her fine art background through drawing and painting.
She particularly enjoys botanical drawing.
Jo attended and completed The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Building Conservation and Advanced Building Conservation Courses.
